Chipotle is now putting craft beer in their stores! Well, they are testing it in Chicago, but the hope is that this will be well received and, much like Starbucks, they will start to offer craft beer in premium stores across the country. That is a great win for craft beer, and is a validation for us. A well know brand is betting that craft beer will help them increase their sales and raise the bar for their stores across the board. People want this option and, for the time being, the only question I have is how will craft “IPA” sell against the traditional mexican beers? I’m betting it will do very well, but check back later and we’ll let you know the outcome.
