Debate this!

With the presidential election cycle in full swing, we have finally reached debate season. In response to this magical time we have noticed a few great ideas for bringing a little levity to these events, and since we are not here to talk politics, but beer, let’s assume that we are going to suggest ways to combine the two things. Yes, we’re talking about drinking games.

We have found various games around the internet, with a few coming via Facebook. Here is a list of the best one’s we found for your enjoyment. To be clear, this is all for humor, and we’re not suggesting that this is the only way to digest a debate (seriously, it is a right and duty to educate yourself on who will govern this country). However, if you do decide to engage in these festivities, please be so kind as to send us some funny pictures or stories. It’s all in good fun after all.

The Inman Park Beer Chase is coming up on October the 27th. It is a great event which was created to raise support and awareness for the Inman Park Security Patrol. For all, it’s a good opportunity to enjoy a day out with friends and drink some good beer. Tickets are now on sale but, if you are like us and would rather volunteer, they are accepting applications, and a few of our fans have already signed up to assist. So, whether you’re there to serve or show your support, it should be a great day for all involved. We’ll see you there!

On August the 10th the Craft Brew Alliance (CBA) will hold their next investor call. CBA is an independent, publicly traded craft brewing company that was formed with the merger of leading Pacific Northwest craft brewers – Widmer Brothers Brewing and Redhook Ale Brewery – in 2008. With an eye toward preserving and growing one-of-a-kind craft beers and brands, CBA was joined by Kona Brewing Company in 2010. The Craft Brew Alliance launched Omission beer in 2012.

Here is why you should listen in:

  • Learn about the business of brewing!
  • Get up to date information on the CBA and craft brewing in general.

If you are serious about starting a brewery, you will find out quickly that making beer is only half the battle. Running a business is the other half, and what better way to learn how than to listen to experienced people who are doing really well at it?

So dial in on Aug 1oth at 11:30 EDT to find out what their thoughts are for the next quarter. Dial in number is  (800) 510-0146.

You can read more about this from their press release located here.
