We lost a great friend in March of 2012, Cullen Branch. He was an avid hunter, a backpacker, was honored to be Annie Lebowitz’s understudy for 2 years, and, up until the time of his passing, was a camera operator for the hit series Auction Kings.
He will be missed, but his legacy will live on with the creation of the “Cullen Branch” memorial grant. This grant will be giving out $100 per month to any organization which helps people within the Atlanta community, supports the arts, or is focused on the outdoors. We will begin accepting entries for the grant starting today, and will present the grant at the beginning of each month.
What and Who is the Grant for? The grant can be awarded for any purpose as long as that purpose is focused on furthering the community of Atlanta, the arts, or the outdoors. The reason for this is that we want to have this grant be a living extension of the love that Cullen had for people, arts, and outdoors. If your group or cause is focused on any of those areas, you are eligible for the grant.
Why $100? This is easy. It is not a ton of money, but it is enough to do a lot of good. We are a start up brewery, so our funds are limited, but just like us lots of people can do great things with a little extra help. So the idea is that any group who needs a little help doing some will be able to seek that help here.
How to Apply? There is a form attached to our web page with which anyone can submit an entry. We will review the entries each month and pick one to award the grant to, which will be donated in Cullen’s name.
We feel that Eventide’s and Cullen’s passions aligned in this way, and the grant will will help Cullen live on through the lives of those whom he loved most. Thank you for your help in this, and we look forward to helping all of those deserving folks. Because Cullen would have wanted it that way.
Best,
The Family of Eventide

Thank you so much for establishing this grant. Cullen grew up with my son, I babysat him at Dahlonega Daycare and I loved his Jim Carey imitation! He became a part of the fabric of our lives and we are so much richer for having crossed paths…Kranberry Kathy
