Atlanta Writers’ Round (ATLWR) is a series of live events designed to bring the original music of local, Atlanta artists to the community. Utilizing the Nashville Style round, songwriters take the stage in ticketed events dedicated to showcasing their songwriting talents.

What is a Nashville Writers’ Round?

The strict definition of a Writers’ Round or “in the round” is a group of songwriters in a circle or in a row on stage taking turns singing their songs. One writer sings a song and then the next sings a song and so on while others will add instrumental flavor or vocal harmonies. Rounds are a great place for an artist to try new material in front of a receptive audience. These events take place in music cities often for industry executives and other musicians to scout talent. ATLWR presents to you, the first, regularly scheduled, writers' round right here in Atlanta!
